Committed to improving patient care, we strive to provide accessible, high-fidelity 3D medical imaging system, augmenting diagnostics, treatment decisions, and surgical interventions in real time.
History
NOVIUS Corporation was founded in 2016 with a vision to create innovative technologies that connect people and information. Starting with digital signage for software and face recognition systems, we gained experience by working with major companies in Japan and developed unique expertise in AI-driven advertising and authentication.
In the following years, we successfully developed real-time AI security systems and groundbreaking glass-free 3D technology, converting 2D images into 3D instantly. Recognition grew further as we joined Microsoft for Startups, became an Intel® Alliance Partner, and launched joint research with Japan’s National Cancer Center Hospital.(No.10 Source:World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2025 Oncology)
In 2023, we took a new step forward by starting research in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and expanding globally with the establishment of our U.S. subsidiary in Delaware. With these achievements, NOVIUS continues to push the boundaries of AI and imaging technology to create a smarter, safer, and more connected with AI and 3D imaging world.

Tomoko Fujino
Founder of NOVIUS.At the second year college, I registered NOVIUS Inc. After starting the company, I had chance to know Koji Okawa who was multi-talented engineer and became the CTO, and after succeeding beacon-operated short-range communication technology, he became the operating officer of NOVIUS Corporation. He has a sincere personality and very motivated to develop AI x real-time image processing and IoT-related products. Very importantly, we share the same value of business perspective and goals.

koji Okawa
Graduated nuclear engineering of Kyoto University, Not only he becomes the Chief Technology Officer, but main AI developer and programmer of NOVIUS Inc. After passing the university entrance exam with almost perfect scores, he decided to work at a venture company in the future, and he mastered programming to solve advanced simulation systems by using Clay supercomputer. His specialty was mathematical thinking during his college year. Actually he was math guru, and his specialties were computational algorithm design and analysis, image information processing, artificial intelligence, and computer network. When NOVIUS Inc. was started business in 2016, he developed beacon-operated short-distance communication technology.

ike Nakamine
Expert in international marketing. Born in Osaka Japan, he graduated from Harvard University with B.A. in Economics . After working for a financial firm on Wall Street, he started his own business in the consulting field. he started his own business in the semiconductor industry. After returning to Japan,and attracted by Okawa’s genius programming ability, he had decide to stay with NOVIUS.

Hisakatsu Tsukidate, MD
He graduated from the School of Medicine at Tohoku University in 2009. After completing his initial residency at Sendai Red Cross Hospital, he decided to pursue a career in surgery. Seeking to enter the field of thoracic surgery, which had long been a strong interest of his, he joined the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Tohoku University School of Medicine. In 2016, recognizing the importance of early detection of lung cancer over treating advanced cases, he established his own practice. Since then, he has established a practice in the field of preventive medicine, offering health screenings, occupational health services, and chest imaging interpretation, which continues to this day. Currently, he interprets chest X-rays for 300,000 people and chest CT scans for 2,000 people annually.
